North Cascades National Park is made of of over 500,000 acres of some of the most rugged wilderness in the United States. Winthrop is one of the closest towns to the east of North Cascades National Park, making us the perfect basecamp for visiting this amazing area.
The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest spans four million acres, with hundreds of miles of trails and plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking, horseback riding, and off-roading. The forest is just a few minutes south of us.
Pearrygin Lake provides numerous opportunities to enjoy trout fishing, boating, swimming, water skiing, and much, much more. Best of all, you can access the lake directly from Silverline Lakefront Resort.
Winthrop, Washington is a classic American Old West town, just off scenic North Cascades Highway. The town is famous for having the continent's biggest network of cross-country ski trails.
Three Fingered Jack's Saloon is Washington State's oldest legal saloon. You can stop by almost any day of the year for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's a great place to enjoy a friendly game of pool and meet the locals.
At and elevation of 7,440 feet, Slate Peak offers some of the most spectacular views you'll find in northwest Washington. You can get to the summit via Slate Peak Road (Forest Service Road 5400), the highest maintained road in the state.
Located in downtown Winthrop, Sheri's Sweet Shoppe specializes in homemade sweets, ice cream, and baked goods. You can even enjoy a round or two of mini golf when you stop by.
Diablo Lake is a beautiful reservoir situated between Ross Lake and Gorge Lake in the North Cascade mountains. The lake is a brilliant turquoise color, making it a photographer's dream. It's also a great place for trout fishing, kayaking and canoeing, and hiking.
Bear Creek Golf Course is located in Methow Valley, less than five mile from us. This is a well-maintained nine-hole public course that can be enjoyed by both beginning and experienced golfers. Rates are reasonable, and the views are fantastic.
